Job Description:
We are currently looking for a full-time Corporate Development and Integration Lead to join our newly created Growth team.
The ideal candidate will drive M&A strategy from deal origination through to seamless post-deal integration. You’ll play a key role in identifying acquisition opportunities that align with our growth goals, managing the due diligence and deal execution process, and ensuring that acquired businesses are successfully integrated into our operating model.
The Role:
Working in our dedicated Growth team, you will work with the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to provide a broad range of duties including but not limited to:
Corporate Development (pre-deal)
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets aligned with our growth strategy.
- Work collaboratively with the CGO to build relationships with target firms, advisors and intermediaries.
- Robust commercial and financial due diligence. Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Support CGO in deal structuring, valuation modelling and negotiation.
- Prepare business cases, financial models and board papers to support investment decisions.
Integration (post-deal):
- Develop and execute detailed post-merger integration (PMI) plans across functions.
- Collaborate with department heads to align systems, processes and teams.
- Monitor progress against integration KPIs (e.g. client retention, revenue synergies, staff retention etc.).
- Lead change management initiatives ensuring effective communication and cultural alignment.
- Resolve integration issues and remove operational roadblocks as they arise.
Undertake any other responsibilities or projects as reasonably requested to support the firm’s strategic objectives.
The standard hours for this position are 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We are offering a competitive salary, based on qualifications and experience.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate should have:
- 5+ years in M&A, corporate finance or strategy, ideally within finance, professional services or a high growth business.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Experience running or contributing to post-merger integration projects.
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders at all levels (internal and external).
- Commercial acumen and ability to assess the strategic fit of potential acquisitions.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence across teams.
- Prior exposure to change management and operational planning.
