We are currently looking for a full-time Business Development Manager to join our newly created Growth team.
The ideal candidate will drive new client acquisition by identifying, approaching and converting prospective clients within targeted sectors to fuel firm growth.
The Role:
Working in our dedicated Growth team, you will work with the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to provide a broad range of duties including but not limited to:
- In conjunction with marketing, develop and execute strategies to generate qualified leads and new client opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, industry contacts and referral sources – involving the relevant Partner where appropriate.
- Operate collaboratively with the Partner team to pass on potential client leads with support material to assist sale closure.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to align campaigns and outreach efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed sales targets.
Undertake any other responsibilities or projects as reasonably requested to support the firm’s strategic objectives.
The standard hours for this position are 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We are offering a competitive salary, based on qualifications and experience.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate should have:
- Proven track record in B2B sales or Business development, preferably in finance or professional services.
- Strong prospecting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Commercially aware with the ability to understand complex client needs.
- Understanding of the firm’s service offerings.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales pipeline management.
