Having graduated with a BSc in Economics from Southampton, Stuart joined the Burgess Hodgson team as a trainee before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. Working with a wide range of clients, from small owner managed businesses to larger corporates, Stuart delivers a range of services including the preparation of statutory accounts as well as providing monthly management account facilities.

Stuart specialises in audits and assurance, managing a variety of cases including both statutory and solicitors accounts rules audits, as well as also sitting on the firm’s internal audit committee. Drawing on a wealth of experience, Stuart is always looking to add value and help clients to improve their controls and processes with the goal of improving efficiency and hopefully reducing costs.

Outside of the office, Stuart is a keen sportsman who enjoys playing football on Saturday mornings, along with getting involved in local networking events and other activities within the firm.
