Collaborating with businesses both locally and across the UK, Martin provides first-rate specialist advice on core accounting and taxation, as well as areas such as R&D tax and investment reliefs, including the Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS and EIS).

Propelled by his enthusiasm for technology, Martin helps his clients with the effective management of their accounts, whilst generating management reports to ensure their full understanding of their businesses numbers.

With a strong leaning towards accountancy from a young age, Martin studied Accountancy and Finance at university, before returning to Canterbury to join Burgess Hodgson as a trainee in 2003, and made a Partner in 2012.

Martin lives in Canterbury with his wife and two daughters and has been a league ten pin bowler for the past 12 years, giving him the opportunity to meet up with friends regularly, as well as trying to beat his highest game of 258.
